Genrich Altshuller and his collegues are yet some others who seriously worked on inventive problem solving.

TRIZ is the Russian-language acronym for the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving
It is a methodical way of examining inventive problems
It reaches different disciplines to solve problems

 

Founder of TRIZ

        Genrich Altshuller was a mechanical engineer who made his first invention at the age of 14 (for scuba diving). He worked in the patent department of the Russian navy, during the 1940s. He started working of TRIZ at the same time. He has 14 published books and a lot of technical papers. He was also the President of the TRIZ Association. He died on September 24, 1998.
