Using Diigo in Class

In this class, we will be using social bookmarking extensively as a method to share, organize, search and manage our bookmarks on instructional and learning theories.

We have a class Diigo group to share interesting and useful links on the internet. One of the most useful features of Diigo is to sharing annotations. Annotations will allow us to comment on web pages, save them and share them with other class members.  If you do not already have an account on Diigo, please sign up for an account at http://groups.diigo.com/group/metu-eds-544

  • Remember to join our Diigo class group by clicking on Apply to Join this group button. Check out the bookmarks in the group.
  • To bookmark a resource in our Diigo group, go to our group page, click on "bookmark" and tag the resource with our course tag "eds544" along with other tags that describe the resource. Please keep bookmarking and tagging sites for the remainder of the course. It will be a great resource for everyone afterwords.
  • Once you install Diigolet to your browser, it will be easier to tag and annotate resources. http://www.diigo.com/tools/diigolet
