Accountability (Auditability): Recording reliable evidence about who did wha t and when so that users held responsible for their actions.

Authentication and Authorization are prevention type of measures whereas accountability is required in order to react after detecting a security breach. “AAA” is an acronym to cover all these three aspects together.

Non-repudiation: Originator/recipient of message can not deny involvement in communication in front of third party .
