Data Pump / Data Diode

It is similar to "air gap" security, but with one-way communication link that allow users to transfer data from the low-confidentiality to the high-confidentiality environment, but not vice versa.

Examples:

• Workstations with highly confidential material are configured to have read-only access to low confidentiality file servers.
