3. Security Education: Education is essential in general and security is not an exception. There are attacks called social engineering attacks (the practice of obtaining confidential information by manipulation of legitimate users), which can only be avoided through education. If somebody can persuade your employees to give away the private customer information like credit card numbers, there is nothing you can do about it technically. Avoiding being one of the victims of these simple attacks might seem to be easy but is only possible with a basic understanding of some security principles. |
